Registration procedures and discounts

The Portugal XPD Race is an unsupported race which means you do not require support crews or hire vehicles. All your gear boxes, mountain bikes and any additional equipment are transported by our staff to the transition areas; we even supply the kayaks and the TRIKKE vehicles.

The entry fee for the 2004 edition of Portugal XPD Race will remain the same as 2003 Raid of Algarve at 1,500.00 € per team. There are no additional costs except for your meals and race food, accommodation will be provided free for the nights of 5, 6 and 10. The average price for a meal in Portugal is 7 Euro per person and food supplies can be arranged almost anywhere at economical prices.

You can register as a mixed gender team or as an all male team till the end of September but if you pretend to have a 10% discount then you have to do it till the end of August 2004. In any situation and till the end of September you can change any member of your team and even its type (mixed or male). This means that you even can register your team just stating the ID of the team captain.

An on-line registration form must be completed and submitted to race admin where further information will be forwarded to the team captain. If you need an invoice please state your financial data in the OBServations field in the form.

What is included:

Accomodations for the nigths of 5, 6 and 10 October,
transfers from and to Lisbon International Airport,
transportation of gear boxes, mountain bikes and any additional equipment,
race maps and instructions,
medical insurance,
paddling equipment – the organization will provide two double kayak, four paddles and life jackets per team,
TRIKKE vehicles – the organization will provide up to four vehicles per team (one of them will be offer as a participation prize to your team).

Withdrawal policy :

Teams can withdrawal from the race till the end of August, in that case they will be fully refunded after deduction of bank transfer expenses. After that date no refund will be given.
