Avalanche of teams in the first week of registrations 2008-03-26 23:09
31 teams from 14 countries are already registered more than 8 months before the race. An achievement uncommon in the world of ARWS Adventure Racing.
The international response to the invitation made by the Estoril Portuagl XPD Race was overwhelming. 50% of the available places to participate in the hardest Adventure Race in Portugal were filled in the first week after registrations opened.
This is even more surprising given that this is a 5 day long race that covers about 600 km and is completed entirely by non-motorised means.
Now we just have to wait and see how these determined adventurers that will invade Estoril next December will get on.
